The launch of the Naked Pumpkins CD is the manifestation of backyard
conversations of political and philosophical content. It is a reflection
of the joining of a variety of minds and talents to the one artistic task.
It is a snapshot of a period of history, which was lived out in Brunswick,
North Fitzroy, Glen Waverley and Afghanistan. We ask you not to only listen
to this music, but to continue the backyard conversations with friends,
relatives and neighbours and to place those snapshots of your history into
an artistic creation — of whatever form. For art is a form of communion
with all of humankind.
Thanks to the musicians...
